Peace begins with the rituals we choose
Clean everyday home fragrances with a purpose
Explore the deeper meaning behind our rituals and uncover the soul of Nytarra.
A quiet quest for purity that became a shared purpose.
Our Story
Nytarra (नितारा), meaning “having deep roots,” was created from a simple belief: the spaces we live in should smell the way we choose. We carefully choose what we eat, what we wear, and how our homes look. Yet the fragrance of our environments - the invisible element that defines how a space truly feels- is often left to whatever happens to be available.Nytarra was founded by Tara Malhotra to change that.Built on the idea that fragrance should be both intentional and clean, Nytarra creates everyday scents designed to live naturally within modern Indian homes, cars, and rituals. Each formulation is developed using thoughtfully selected ingredients that respect both the air we breathe and the traditions that inspire them.Rooted in India’s fragrance heritage yet made for contemporary living, Nytarra brings a more considered approach to home fragrance.Because fragrance should never feel like an afterthought. It should be a choice.
